Any advice for my car restoration project?
Ok, So I just drove my 1981 Checker Marathon back from Illinois to Iowa 412 Miles. Obviously the Original 267 Engine works ok. It needs a new/rebuilt carburater, New interior, body work, rust removal and paint job. Where should I start? Any suggestions on brands of parts, color of paint or other things I should do to this car?? I own a cab company. My colors are green & white. I want to make it into a show cab; not intended to pick-up people. I work for a credit report repair company. The truth is that no one can offer services that you couldnt do on your own. They should be paid for services not for results because they cannot guarantee that items will be removed even if you really want them too. The best any one can offer is a warranty on their services meaning if they cannot get items removed within a certain time frame that you may be refunded money.
Another sign that a company is fraudulent is if they require payment for work before it is offered. Everyday I hear of someone paying thousands of dollars upfront for credit repair…. this is wrong…very wrong!
All legitimate credit repair organizations will have a contract! More than a handshake.

It has a lot of big words and some of it seems to be nothing more than legal mumbo jumbo but read through so that you know your rights.
You should also check with the BBB to see how long the company has been is business, and that they actually exist. The BBB really isn't good for anything more than that.

I would strongly suggest you not do this. I know you say you don't have time, but you can get letter templates to use and it won't take that much time.
Credit repair companies are a rip-off. They do exactly what you would do on your own except they charge you a lot for it.
Keep your money and read http://www.creditboards.com forums to learn what to do. You should also read the FCRA and the FDCPA to learn your rights as a consumer.
